Arrivals and dispatches of raw wood (CN 4403)
Based on the need and desire of the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) declare the amount of raw wood, belonging to group CN 4403 (Wood in the rough, whether or not stripped of bark or sapwood, or roughly squared) in barkless cubic meters (MTQ).
Declaring the net weight is optional. However, if declared, it must be declared without the bark.
Use the following divisors to convert raw wood measured with bark to free of bark:

Example:
- A company imports 3000 m3 of pine sawlogs (CN code 4403 21 10) from Sweden to Finland. The quantity in cubic metres has been measured with bark. The cubic metres are divided with the divisor 1,14 of the CN code 4403 21 10 in order to convert them to cubic metres without bark.
- 3000 m3: 1,14 = 2632 m3
- In the statistical declaration, the entry 2632 m3 is declared as the supplementary unit (MTQ).
